Why it keeps happening

You don't quit a strategy because it's bad.You quit because you can't tell if it's bad.

Every strategy loses. Even a good one has losing weeks.

So here's what happens. You find a strategy. The first few trades go well. Then you take three losses in a row.

The next setup appears. Same rules as before. And you don't take it. Or you take it small. Or you take it and close it early.

That isn't a discipline problem. You're asking a fair question: is this a normal losing run, or is the strategy broken?

And you can't answer it. You've never seen this strategy over a few hundred trades. You don't know what its losing runs look like.

So you do the sensible thing. You go and find a new one. And the clock starts again.

That's what trust is. It isn't a feeling. It's knowing what your strategy does over hundreds of trades, because you recorded it and saw it yourself.

When you have that, three losses in a row is just three losses in a row. You take the next trade.

It's not a knowledge problem. It's a trust problem. On Sunday, Lewis shows you how that trust gets built.

Lewis Kelly

"The reason that you sabotage your trades in the first place isn't because you don't have discipline. It's not because you weren't born to be a trader. It's because you just don't have trust. Trust in yourself or trust in your system."

About 70% are here
02

Trust

03

Experience

Theory, without the repetitions in live conditions.

About 70% of traders at our September event put themselves in the Trust gap. Sunday shows you how to close it.
